2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information when you use the Service:
- Contact information: full name, phone number, email address, city, and ZIP code.
- Property and service information: property type, ownership status (own or rent), job type requested, system size, and project timeline/urgency.
- Technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, and pages visited, collected automatically through cookies and similar tracking technologies, including Google Tag Manager.
- Communications: records of calls, texts, and emails exchanged between you, Local AC Help, and Partner Contractors.

- Match your request with one or more Partner Contractors in your area;
- Share your submitted information (including your name, phone number, email, and project details) with Partner Contractors so they may contact you regarding your quote request;
- Communicate with you about your request, including by phone, email, and SMS text message;
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Service, including analytics and advertising performance measurement;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Conditions.
4. How We Share Your Information
Because Local AC Help operates as a matching service, submitting a request means your information will be shared with one or more Partner Contractors so that they can contact you directly about your HVAC quote. We may also share information with:
- Service providers who support our platform (e.g., hosting, analytics, tag management, and customer relationship tools);
- Advertising and analytics partners (such as Google) to measure and improve ad performance, in aggregate or pseudonymized form where possible;
- Legal or governmental authorities where required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
We do not sell your personal information to data brokers for purposes unrelated to fulfilling your quote request.
5. SMS & Text Messaging Communications
Consent to Receive SMS Messages. By providing your phone number and submitting a request through our Service, you expressly consent to receive SMS/text messages from Local AC Help and/or its Partner Contractors related to your quote request, appointment scheduling, follow-ups, and related customer service communications. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of using our Service or making any purchase.
Message Frequency. Message frequency varies based on your request and the number of Partner Contractors matched to you. You may receive multiple messages related to a single quote request.
Message and Data Rates May Apply. Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier and plan. Local AC Help is not responsible for any charges from your wireless carrier.
Opt-Out (STOP) and Support (HELP). You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive. For assistance, reply HELP to any message, or contact us directly at support@localachelp.com. After opting out, you may still receive a one-time confirmation message and, separately, may continue to receive messages directly from Partner Contractors unless you opt out with them individually.
6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, pixels, and tools such as Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use our Service, measure advertising effectiveness, and improve the user experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.
